Bio: Francesca Sanders hails from Portland, Oregon by way of Los Angeles. Her career began by accident, literally (broken elbow) in the Spring of 2000. Since then she has written nine full length plays and several short ones. Among her many honors she's been a Finalist for the Rosenthal New Play Prize, New Harmont Project, Just Add Water/West Festival, Pittsburgh New Play Festival and many others. Two of her plays have had readings off-Broadway (Lilac Samba and Rising From the SUgar Bowl). Many of her short works are available at Brooklyn Publishers. She's a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
